4th Grade Bulldog Buddies Are Needed
Posted on 06/17/2019
Bulldog BuddiesWe are looking for some amazing 4th grade Bulldog Buddies to help with morning arrival and afternoon dismissal at East End.  All interested rising 4th graders are asked to complete an application and return to the school by July 22nd.

Bulldog Buddies are fourth graders who want to help with either morning arrival or afternoon dismissal.

We believe that all Bulldog Buddies should be an example to younger children in behavior, reliability and politeness.  Students who do not take the responsibility seriously and act in a manner that contradicts the code of conduct may be dismissed at any time.

Please review the following job descriptions/responsibilities for Bulldog Buddy Assignment.  You will be expected to perform the duties assigned to your area.  Any problems should be reported to a teacher on duty.

Bulldog Buddies Responsibilities:

  • Report for duty on time and wearing the appropriate safety gear
  • In the morning, hold doors for entering students and escort younger students to their classrooms as needed
  • In the afternoon, hold entry and exit doors for dismissing students
  • Morning duty begins at 7:40 and lasts until 8:00
  • afternoon duty begins at 2:30 and lasts until 2:45

Considering transportation to and from school, I would be able to report for duty in the:

_____ morning (7:40-8:00)

_____ afternoon (2:30-2:45)

Applications are due to the school by July 22nd.    These can be e-mailed to Tammy Day   (TammyDay@pickens.k12.sc.us ) or mailed to the school at:   East End Elementary, 505 East 2nd Avenue, Easley, SC 29640.   All applications will be reviewed and students’ teachers will be involved in the approval process.  A SchoolMessenger message along with posting on the school’s front door and the EEE Facebook page will name all bulldog buddies by Monday, August 6th.     A training will be held on August 13th from 3: 00 – 3:45 p.m.  (Just prior to Meet the Teacher) for all Bulldog Buddies.  If you have any questions, please contact Tammy Day (tammyday@pickens.k12.sc.us).
