Our East End Student Council is collecting items to share with the residents of The Retreat in Easley. It is so exciting to have new protocols and opportunities to reach out to our community. We are collecting the following: Reese's Cups, M and M's, Junior Mints, soft peppermints, smaller bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and tissues, and spring type items to share with the residents (small stuffed bunnies/animals, small flowers or other small items that could help decorate their rooms at The Retreat.) We want to brighten their days and share some love from East End. The Student Council will be taking a field trip on Friday, April 1st to deliver the goodies and then stop off at a local restaurant to have a treat before returning back to the school by 5:00 p.m. (Student Council members will get their permission slips on Thursday.) Student Council members will need to wear a mask (per The Retreat guidelines) in order to enter the lobby with the Student Council to drop off the items.
If you can help us with this outreach, please send in your items by Friday morning, April 1st. We will be collecting these in the front office.
