Thank you to everyone who joined us for our last Family Literacy Night of the school year! We had such a great time watching The Wild Robot together. We’re excited to hear what our students think—and how the movie compares to the book!
A huge thank you to United Way of Pickens County for your continued support in making these nights so special. Thanks to their generosity, each family went home with two incredible books: The One and Only Ivan and The One and Only Bob.
We’re already looking forward to more fun events this summer and into the next school year—stay tuned!

It was Yearbook Signing Day at East End!
Our students had a blast flipping through memories and collecting signatures from friends and teachers. What a fun way to celebrate the year!
A huge thank you to Mrs. Gardo and Mrs. Simmons for their hard work and dedication in creating such a special yearbook for our students. We are so grateful for all the time and love you poured into it!

Camp Second grade is underway. We are having so much fun learning in themes these last few weeks. Yesterday was dino-rrific too! We dug for dinosaurs.

Our final Pup Tales of the year was taco-rrific!
We had so much fun reading Dragons Love Tacos and making breakfast tacos together. Every student went home with a taco and their very own dragon — what a delicious way to wrap up a year of reading fun!
A big thank you to Pickens County Women United for sponsoring our Pup Tales books this year. Your support means the world to us and our young readers!
